Mosques choose a calculation method and often add a few safety minutes. Open More, then Calculation, and pick the method your mosque follows. Then use the minute adjustments to match the printed table exactly; the alerts follow the same adjustments. If your mosque shares an Azaan timetable file, open it with Azaan and the app will follow it to the minute.
Azaan follows the Umm al-Qura calendar. Communities that sight the moon locally can be a day different. Open More, then Hijri date, and shift it by a day.
Check that notifications are allowed for Azaan in your phone's settings, that the prayer's bell on the Today screen is on, and that the phone is not in a Focus or Do Not Disturb mode that silences apps. On Android, also allow "Alarms and reminders" for Azaan so alerts fire on the minute, and make sure the app is not battery-restricted. Use More, Alerts, Send a test alert to check.
Hold the phone flat and away from metal and magnets, and move it in a figure of eight to calibrate. The map view shows the direction without needing the compass.
Tap Share PDF and choose Print from the share sheet (needs an AirPrint printer on your Wi-Fi), or save the PDF to Files and print from a computer.
